3D Subsurface Imaging
Not everything in the subsurface is a utility. Whether it be rebar in concrete, unmarked graves, or underground storage tanks, Blew & Associates is dedicated to helping you find the answer with our Ground Penetrating Radar’s 3D Subsurface Imaging. Our skilled technicians use GPR to generate 2D depth slices along X and Y axis of a designated area and then compile those slices in order to create a complete 3D image of the Subsurface. Using this we can accurately locate hidden and even unknown objects and mark specific locations of known targets as well as insert 3D models of our interpretations into CAD files and point clouds. This process can be applied to excavation areas as well as concrete pads and other materials to determine safe excavation zones and boring holes locations.
